The year was 1447. Pierre LeBronce was sitting in his small room at the corner of the house when his father came in and told him, "Vous ne pouvez pas rester ici une minute de plus! Vous avez apporté que des ennuis et de la douleur dans notre famille depuis 16 ans! Pars maintenant et ne jamais revenir!" (You can not stay in here one minute longer! You have brought nothing but trouble and pain to our family for the past 16 years! Leave now and never return!). And so he went. At the age of 18, he was thrown out of his home, on to the streets to fend for himself in the slums of Paris. He found work as an assistant to a tailor named Madame Tailleur. One day, after months of working there, Madame Tailleur fell ill. So on the order she had worked on for the past 3 days, he began to try. He had watched her sew so many times that he knew he could do it himself. a mere 30 minutes later the order was done. He brought it up to the cashier and it was Prestine. "Tu fais ca seul?" (You did that alone?) she said. He simply nodded and walked away to work on the next order. Next Saturday morning, he checked the Paris Gazette and saw that Mme Tailleur had died on Friday. So, He took over. For the next 30 years, he would run the shop and work to become the best tailour in France. He recieved Europe-Wide recognition for his works and died in 1498, in his silk-sheeted bed in Lyon, France.
