This is my skin entry for the new PMC skin contest. She is princess of castaways.



This is Nidarya, princess of castaways. She used to be a mortal. She always loved to sail. One day while she was sailing she went out too far and got lost. She sailed for days looking for land. On the third day, a large and ominous cloud covered the sky as far as the eye can see. Soon it started to rain and the waves whipped her boat back and forth. It was just a sail boat, and wasn't built to withstand such brutal weather. Soon it started to sink. Nidarya sank with it.


She would have drowned, but the ocean took pity on her and made her immortal. Once the storm died down, the waves carried her to a small island. When she woke up, she could only remember a bit about her past life. She mainly remembered the days and nights she had spent on the ship. She remembered the fear. She remembered how uncomfortable it was to sleep on the deck of the ship. She remembered how dark it got when the storm-cloud came. As she thought about these things, she noticed that she was no longer hungry or weakened.


As she explored her small island, the waves talked to her. They told her tales that no mortal has ever heard before. They explained the ways of nature to her. She was delighted that she could understand the chatter of the waves as they crashed upon the shore. And once she had heard all of the oceans tales and secrets, she took her place as the princess.
