Technically, no - I was born in and live in the USA. But one side of my family are direct immigrants from The Netherlands, and the other side is about 4th or 5th generation, so essentially my entire family tree is Dutch. I grew up with a few Dutch traditions and foods, Sinterklaas among them. As a kid, he seemed more authentic to me than the American "Santa", which makes sense seeing as how he's he origin of the Santa Claus character.
