Andrew Korvos was born in the slums of a grand city which today lies in ruin, during his childhood the city was a stagnant pool of disease, poverty, and despair. Within the city was a clergy, though it's figureheads usurped their power for an advantage in societies ladder, only using their titles to further their own cause. The young Andrew sought to put and end to this.

For twelve years the boy of eighteen worked tirelessly to aid the city, all of his income went to feeding the hungry, his time went to aiding the broken and the despairing, and his heart went to those on the cusp of their natural life. His actions in the eyes of men were seen as foolish, their lack of faith had made them cruel and cynical. However his actions in the eyes of God were seen as pious, something that the land's omniscient watcher had not witness in hundreds of years.

With the new support from his powerful deity, he rid the clergy of the sinister devils which lurked there, and replaced it with commoners, true men of god. By his fifties the land that he had grown up in changed greatly, the people cheered the name of god, and were rewarded with great bounties of harvest and joy. As tribute to the now aged Andrew Korvos, God had raised him to become a Saint. Now beholding divine powers not seen in the land for many years, God allowed St. Korvos to act as his herald, and slowly but surely the faith replaced St. Korvos as it's face.

"And lo my master, the lord of all things, and the benefactor of our great people has appointed me to watch over you, as a shepherd would his sheep. I promise that we will enter a golden age, casting away the shadows that loomed over us for too long, these shadows such as disease, squalor, cruelty, and poverty. Rise my people, create a new world order based on love, friendship, and trust. Together, we will all ascend, and become greater versions of ourselves"

- St. Korvos, defusing a riot between the king's city guard and the commoner's militia. The riots ended minutes after his speech.

The dogma of St. Korvos, and his nameless deity, is that of love and kindness, though it also deals with fairness and atonement for sins. Due to his mortal beginnings, Korvos pleads for his followers to aid the meek, those who could not fend for themselves, and those who are in need of dire assistance.

St. Korvos' worshippers are many, ranging from the wealthy to the poor, and from the lively to the dying. His acceptant and tolerant dogma allows for anyone to engage in the worship of him and his ideals. It is said that praying to him oft times may summon the Saint, should your need for help be recognized as urgent. Tales tell of the man appearing in the blink of the eye to assist a fallen elderly man on an unused road, assisting a child in finding his parents, or aiding farmers in their toil.

Several small sects of the main church have broken off to form their own guilds based around St. Korvos' teachings. The Seven Knights are a band of former high lords who had given up their titles and sworn to defend the church, including all of it's followers. Whereas the Humble are a larger guild of monks with the intention of bettering the land and people by preaching good will, and assisting wherever they can.
