Thainer National Armed Forces background:

In the reformation of the National Army after a bloody war with it's neighbors, the Armed Forces began re-arming and rein-structuring itself, due it's period, the of reform it began seeking help for any power and including more NATO, Dubious relation with Warsaw and Arstozinia, in the early 80s, Thaianer would make a formal alliance Commercial & Military alliance with Arstozinia, the Thainer National Armed Forces consits of (1970s - 1990s) 1,541,200, (1990s - present) 870,100 Troops.

In the late 1980s to early 1990s with the Gulf-War and the end of Cold-War the National Army began transitioning to a professional Volunteer forces to ensure more modernization for it's forces, in 1997 many groups of Insurgents began forming around it's border's & less centralized regions of the country, being called this period The Insurgency Era, with mass International & Domestic terrorists groups threatening it's Area, the Republic began calling aid from the Arstozinian Army who is still reforming itself after the DRA Era, in 2005 to 2012 Thainer would receive help from France, Arstozinia & Chad, with the end of the Insurgency Era, began The Reclamation Era, where the country would began be re modernize itself and turns into a great ally interest of NATO to buffer China's Africa's Expansion.

The Thainer main rifle in the 1960s to 1980s was the Fuzile Automatique d'Batallie de Service-762 (FABS-762) (Locally Produced FN-FAL but Lighter) chambered in the 7.62x51mm NATO and a convention kit to be issued the 5.56x45mm NATO, despite of it's durability, reliability & cost-defectiveness, the Old rifle was been seen outdated even to 1980s standards, and so a new rifle was to be found, luckily Israel offered it's IMI Galil AR chambered in 5.56x45mm to the Thainer, and so in 1990s the IMI Galil AR, re-branded and locally manufactured received a new name Fuzile Automatique d'Assault de Galil-556 (FAAG-556), with the introduction of IWI Galil ACE AR family, Thainer began production of FAAG-M1 556, FAAG-M2 556 & FAAG-M3 .227, the new Model would began be issued with a new Polymeter cased Cartidge .227 FURY (6.8x51mm) due to the new Standard Issue rifle of the US Army and to fight against better Body-Armor for longer ranges while still keeping the 556 as the main issue ammunation.
