I have a little bit of a problem running the skin. I downloaded it uploaded it to minecraft and but when i logged on the skin would not load and i was left with a steve skin.

Sometimes the Minecraft skin-updating system is a bit finicky. Try uploading it a few more times. A helpful tool is to use a website to look up what skin you have like this site to check if the skin-server has it right. If the skin-server has it right, it's something on your end.

but why do people say it looked better with the cape? its like you made it witout the cape first then added the cape later on

I originally posted a version without the cape, different colors, and different design. Then I edited that file to have a cape, different colors, and a better design (which is the version you see now). Since I edited the original, I no longer have it :p
