easy! but the hard part is shading...

first,get a template. a good one,for example,Leostereo's template.

then get a reference,you can if you want.

use a good paint program like Paint.NET,I'm using now,though.

Then pick your base colors and then make shades of the color.

now,make the skin then shade it. you can follow Leostereo's skin/shading tutorial here: http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/a-big-tutorial-on-skinning-transparent-pencil-shading-skinning-steps-tips-and-tricks-and-more/
