Not too sure if this style fits with the skins of today, it's terribly outdated (I assume you intended to make it look like that) but yeah, it'd look nice maybe 3 years ago but at this stage it's way too outdated even though I can appreciate it.

If you mean "this stage" as in over simplified skins with redundant use of the same shading on every skin, then yeah. I rather have a shading technique that not much people are using now a days. But either way, thanks for appreciating it :)

Just because something is popular doesn't mean it shouldn't be used. That'd be replicating a pixel piece from a few years back, it'd be dithered to death and look not all that good. Which is pretty much what we have here. Just because it's different doesn't make it good. But alas, do whatever you enjoy.

Looks better, a lot more contrasted that this skin which is good. It's fairly hard to notice most of the shading on this. If you are going with the more "detailed" shading then the gray part of the arms don't match the rest of the skin, though i'm unsure if they're a wip or not so yeah.

Actually when I look at the gallery, alot of skins are just modified versions of someone elses shading style that was used in the past. Not that I hate it, but more like that i'm just tired of them. Transparent pencil is something i'm good at by the way. Like the only thing i'm good at. I've tried simple skins and contrasted complex skins, and failed horribly. I rather stick with what I have going. But yeah, I don't hate the skins today.
