Something ive been working on, oh and i dont claim it to be the best at all as it plainly isnt. i am just starting to learn shading so its still not the greatest

The stripes look very solid-colored. I am not a fan of solid colors.

The skintones, while true to the minecraft zombies, might look better if you lowered the saturation a tad. They're a very intense green, while I feel detracts from the overall appearance.

I can see that this character is supposed to be in a short-dress or skirt, but I think it looks rather silly how it doesn't carry-over onto the legs. I'd have given it at least a pixel or two of bleed-over.

From the 2D, it looks better. To fix the preview, remove any punctuation (spaces, dashes, underscores, whatever isn't letters or numbers) from the skin's filename and upload it again.

The next step is to clean up the contrast and edging. This is the most complicated part, but you want to try to use the dark and light shades to create the illusion of shape. The bottom of the dress, for example, might be darker around the edges than inside the larger areas. On the hair, you should make sure that the highlights line-up correctly at the edges.
