While some vanilla inspired packs go for more gradient and noisy details, I decided to improve the original JAPPA (version 1.13 and up) textures of Minecraft by flattening the pallete and bringing shades closer to classic pixel art guidelines.
Initially inspired by Minecraft promo art, At some point planned to be a plug-in to Bare Bones (check that pack out, it's great and finished), but evolved to be something separate with a different, closer to Minecraft style. Technically playable beta version is available. I'm awaiting any feedback and looking for someone to collab on this with, tell me if you're interested. basic knowledge of pixel by pixel editing required, the steps to manually do it will be shared.~160 textures so far!
UPDATE: Changed the rules, replaced the textures that only had two colors.
I'll prioritize texturing anything you mention in the comments!
