Pack broken in versions after 1.21.2! Get the newest version here.

Since 1.15 map-makers have had to deal with certain textures no longer supporting transparency.

This small resource pack aims to fix this bug by allowing full transparency in certain tile entities like paintings.

Uses a slightly modified core shader and can be easily added to any resourcepack.

Hope this helps someone as it has helped me a lot on a current project, particularly the paintings!

Allows full transparency for:
Paintings,
Shield,
Trident entity,
Lectern book,
Enchanting table book,
Shulker face,
Beds,
Banner base

Use alongside any other pack to see the results or merge it into your own.

It may be possible with this method, but your best bet is probably to edit the 3D models of the enchanting table and cauldron with Blockbench or something similar.

Thank you!!! This has been frustrating me for years as my formerly transparent paintings all had ugly backgrounds added. This fixed it, thank you!

This is just insane.
We had massive problems on a server for YEARS. What a bummer that I found about your pack only today.

In GhibliCraft's name, you have our most sincere thanks!! ^•^

The least I can do is to add you to our resource pack credits!
Do you take tips by any chance? (Paypal, Lydia...)

NB: Just so you see the disaster...

Before:
The interior of the Bathhouse (Spirited Away) # Full of paintings with raw white background

After:
The interior of the Bathhouse (Spirited Away) # Nice paintings!

We just need to remove the frame texture, and it'll be as good as it used to be!!!

I'm glad this pack has been so useful.

A tip is certainly not required and credit is appreciated but optional, given I don't play Minecraft anymore.
