Level 52 : Grandmaster Architect

"It's true, it's damn true!" "Finally..." okay, enough quotes. Yes, I finally managed to update this awesome resource pack :D
There are quite a few new textures, old ones have been improved and all in all it's just up to date! There are probably some sounds missing, but you can include them if you have the ones from my former version of this RP.

The Star Trek Texture Pack is my own creation, made with textures from the video game "Star Trek Elite Force" and its mods. It's not completely done yet, but it's nearly complete. There are only a few items and stuff missing. There can be some textures of other Texture Packs. Don't know if there are still some of them in it.You're welcome to give suggestions of what I should change and comments...I'll try to fix everything the best I can.


Remember that this is a Creative Mode based resource pack! Of course you can use it in Survival mode, but many blocks are pretty difficult to get without creative mode. Furthermore it may not be recommendable to use those textures in an already existing world. Do what you think is most fun for you. =)

Furthermore you will need to patch Minecraft, using Optifine or the MCHDPatcher. Otherwise your Minecraft will probably crash, or the textures will all appear white, which kinda sucks.

Connected Textures

It's recommended to have some ctm knowledge. You'd know which techniques can be used to arrange certain blocks, for instance horizontally, vertically, or randomly. Nevertheless, even without any knowledge about it you'll find out how everything works pretty quickly. =)

There are be some big changes, which may force you to rebuild some of your creations. Either because of the new ctm feature, or because the blocks just have new textures. Still, I tried not to chance everything so you have to rebuild everything from the beginning. Think of all the new textures, which were made possible to add because texture packs can finally contain differently sized textures *_*

The 1.8.1 version is not quite finished, but it is completely playable the way it is. I just don't have any ideas or matching textures for all objects. If you have ideas or suggestions, let me hear them.

To come to an end, please, because this is not completely finished or matching, give me some feedback and suggestions of what to change, what to add or what I should get out of the pack as soon as possible.

This video is....incredibly outdated. Please, if there's someone, who wants to make a video, presenting this resource pack, feel free to do it and I'll post it here. Thank you :)

Additional Notes

This is only a beta version of the 1.8.1 Resource Pack! Some fixes need to be done and some textures aren't there, but it's so much more than the last version.

I used different texture packs as templates, for example the famous Misa Texture Pack, which means, and I ask for any file you notice so I can replace them, there may be some files in this texture pack, which I forgot to edit or just did not see.

Need some help with adding villager faces. I am horrible at drawing faces [as you may see]. So if you got some cool face textures you'd like to share, let me know =)

Ha. Du to my own personal awesomeness [yaya, bla bla :D ] I figured out how to use the MC Patcher with my MC version [1.7.10] SO I am working on the update right now and will release a 1.7.x version instead of waiting for the 1.8 to be released in late late late summer.

So...I now have time to continue working on this recource pack, but no MC HD Patcher is working, wich makes it impossible for me to do anything.

I'd highly appreciate any kind of help [again] to solve this problem. A possible release date [if the problem will be solved soon] will be shortly after the release of MC 1.8 IF this version doesn't change anything on the structure of resource packs. If this happens, I will have to restructure my RP, which, as you well know, may take a while.

So, did anything change with the use of the HD patcher? I didn't play MC for quite a bit now so I don't really know what to do as other pages tell me to download the patcher, which won't work with MC 1.7.10

I found some time to start working on the new update and my creativity is boiling!
I cannot promise a quick release [surprise], but make sure there will be an update! I'll try to bring it out before christmas. Still, there's quite a bit to edit.
Start replacing your iron fences with yellow glass panes :)

I'm afraid I have to completely retexture the pumpkin textures. So change all of your pumpkins in your maps to either redstone lamps or purple wool, thanks.

I just had an in my opinion great idea of changing the pumpkin texture to Borg implants so you can be "assimilated" by wearing a pumpkin and the pumpkin blur looks like you are watching with Borg "eyes"...I like it so it will be change.

Update 1.6 is coming....but when?

As soon as I figured out how to add animated textures and, again, how to add the awesome ctm feature. Both don't work the way they used to, which makes it inctredibly
complicated and annoying updating the texture pack to its newer resource pack design.

I need to know how to do animated and ctm textures in 1.6 before I can actually stark updating the entire pack...

Furthermore, I won't be able to do any more updates after August 6th 2013 for about a year, bcause I'm doing some Work&Travel stuff in Canada...so, if you may help me with these problems, I [and most importantly everyone, who uses this texture pack] would really appreciate it. :)

To my little minions o ¥

I am close to finish the BETA of this texture pack.

There will be:

- many new textures, many old textures in higher resolution
- many animated textures

Still some problems appeared, which is the reason I will first release a beta version:

- I don't have any facial textures for the villagers. If anyone likes to share their villager texture in this texture pack, I'd appreciate it =)
- I still have no idea how to add the CTM feature, which is a pitty because there are so many ctm textures, which would make the pack even more awesome than it already is. So if you know the way how to get this feature in, please let me know!

Ladies and gentlemen,

I finally found a working converter for my texture pack. FINALLY! -_-
This means it won't be long until the 1.5.1 BETA of this pack will be released.

I still need help with the ctm feature, which I have no idea of how to get it into the new Texture pack design.

I appreciate every help I get with this problem =)

It is once again time for a new big Minecraft update. Well, not yet, but it's coming soon. This means, I'll have to wait uploading the full texture pack until version 1.5 is released.

There are some very new changes with the texture files and animations, which means that I may have to restructure the texture pack, not really sure about this.
Of course the new update contains many more textures, which have to be retextured =)

Nevertheless thank you for your nice feedback on what has been done so far =)

The new version of this texture pack will be f'n awesome ! Many ctm textures, bigger textures, random textures more animations and mobs.
I am looking forward to the new animation update of Minecraft 1.5 and hope to finally give you working animated paintings. It may be already possible to animate paintings [without any mod], but I don't know how. So...hopefully the new update will be released soon.

When do you think you will update this to 1.10?
I'm making a Star Trek Ship and some of the textures are glitched with the pack because it's a 1.8 pack in 1.10.2.
Please let me know if you will ever update the pack.

Oy...apparently it's been about a year since you've written this comment.
I'm afraid it's more than just highly unlikely that I will continue this pack. I've unfortunately lost all the texture stock for this pack so...yeah. That sucks. I'd like to do a little update, but somehow it doesn't seem to be worth the time anymore

I enjoyed this texture pack when I had it in the past, and I still do, but when I download it, it comes as a .rar file, and my computer doesn't know what to open it with. I went into my downloads, and found it, but then when I dragged it into the minecraft resource packs folder, it wouldn't show up! I've looked at many different tutorial videos but they don't say what to do if it's a .rar file. I've even tried changing the file type to .zip but that didn't work either. Please help.

Hey, sorry my response comes so late, but I'm not frequenting this page that often anymore.
You need "winrar", which is similar to "winzip", but for .rar files. It's pretty easy to find and free.

Hi, ich finde es richtig gut dass du so ein Texturepack gemacht hast. Ich liebe Voyager, und mir fehlen noch ca. die letzten 6 Folgen oder so. Wir gucken das gerade :D
Ich fänds schön wenn du mir a. antworten würdest :)
b. hinzufügen könntest dass die Villager (Crewmans) verschiedene Schulterfarben haben, also auch rot und blau.
Also ich muss Voyager lieben, denn ich wurde teilweise nach Kathrin Janeway benannt.

I know, nobody from the people here could understand my, except the author of the article, so when you wanna understand the text above, then translate it throught google translate from German to English ;D
This texture pack does not seem to be recognized as a texture pack. I have it in the folder but does not show up in game. I noticed the file does not include a cover icon or an .mcmeta file like the rest of the packs I've seen but adding placeholders does not seem to help the issue. I am running 1.8.6, any known problems with this version?

The texture pack does not work with me. What do I have to do? I put it in my resource pack folder and it did not work. I love that texture pack, but I cannot get it to work. Please help! Does it onlywork on 1.8.1, because I am in 1.7.10.

Tough question. I'd go with the Borg. They're simply badass and sneaky little bitches. You always know shit is about to get real when you see one of their cubes coming at you.

I also like the Klingons or the Ferengi. Species I really can not stand are the Bajorans and Betazoids...

you could always use a HD pack as a template and copy all files, then overwrite them with your own textures.

that's what I'll do if I don't find another way. There are often so many animation controlling files that screw up everything and it takes ages to find them. But if there's no other way I'll do it

I'd love to do it. There're no seperate textures for blocks lie this. Like open doors or trapdoors or so. If there ever will be or someone tells me how to do it, it will be done

If you're referring to the video, this does not display the actual sounds from this resource pack as it was made about...I don't know, a year ago or so.

this is a cool texture pack, but i cant run the original. to make it work, ive had to reduce the resolutions of all textures to a maximum of 64x64, replace almost all th MCMETA files with new ones, and remove empty parts of animated textures. if you like, i could give you advice on how to make the pack work better. but still, great pack!
Why is it a .rar file? Why isn't it a ZIP file?

Should be fixed. Best I can do for now, still I have no idea why this bug appeared.
One texture had a different width than the others, which probably was the reason for the bug to appear, but after fixing this it still appeared, which is why I deleted the ctm feature for this block. Doesn't look that nice now, but at least no pink/black textures anymore :>

when i saw this updated i squealed like a preteen girl at a justin bieber concert....I'm a 18 year old male....
I wish this was a Forge mod :P Then there could be actual phasers, Disruptors, ect. Although, I cant do it myself, But I hope you and a group of friends that can program/texture can do it.

I can't do anything close to programming. I do know somebody, who can do it, but he's got better things to do than...well...actually he's programming stuff for Minecraft, but no mods.

yeah, I acctually started making one, but I'm glad you are so I don't have to. My idea was different though I was going to use all of the star trek series and make the ambiant music be the themes, the juke box be different songs featured in the series, I was going to make the slimes be tribbles, and the zombie pigmen borg, and the nether look like a borg ship. idk maybe I still will, or you could use those ideas if you want.

Borg zombie pigmen dno't really work, because pigmen wear swords and Borg...don't ^^
but klingons do so my pigmen are Klingons.
Changing the Nether to a Borg world is a pretty good idea, but there's too much fire and lava and...well, there is none of them in Borg ships.
I will add some abmient sounds, but it's not that easy, because the music doesn't start without the player activating it.
And there's a very special song in it. Some Klingon drinking song...=D
that's awesome. so, are the swords looking like batleths in yours
because zombie pigman klingons with sword batleths would be awesome. but
if yours is based on voyager shouldnt they be the Nistrim and those

guys? just a thought, unless yours isn't just voyager as well. as for the nether, maybe it
could be a klingon ship then? but as for the borg ship not working with
the fire and lava, maybe it could be a damaged/destroyed borg ship? idk

It's mostly Voyager stuff, that's right, but it'd be too difficult to create Kazon textures, just because they don't have anything special. Just generic brown/grey walls and some skulls.

I guess I have to change the netherrack texture, yeah, but it has to be Klingon then.
Or.....although that'd be pretty unique. The Nether will become the class Y demon planet from Voyager when the entire ship was "cloned". That'd be cool =D

That would be awesome, voyager was one of my favorites of the series. well there weren't many Klingons in voyager, but I don't see how that matters much, just say its a different voyager from a different dimension. they would do something like that, i think.

You really should just stick with expanding the Federation textures with the new blocks you have. I think that would be best.

Yeah, I think that'd be the best option. Perhaps a few alien textures [in connection with ctm] and it'd be fine. :)
