Hey there guys Master G here with my entry to the Survival Guide Blogging Competition called Surviving in The Wilderness.It is over 2000 words long so sit back and relax! I hope you enjoy it as it took very long to make!

So you want to know how to Survive in the Wilderness huh? Well here's how to do it!

1. Knowing Survival

Before you can even start to survive, you have to know what survive means and when you know you must survive.

Survive means to live through an extreme moment. In this case you have to survive in the wilderness.

You know that you must survive in the wilderness when you have no form of rescue and are stranded in a forest or a desert. If you're stranded in the city then you are not stranded in the wilderness but you're in a very urban area.

To survive in the wilderness you have to do anything you have to do to survive.

2. Combat

2.1 Enemies:

In the Wilderness you are never alone, there are always enemies everywhere of all shapes and sizes.

They only come out at night so at day time you have time to get ready.

Overworld:

Creepers:

One of the Deadliest mobs in Minecraft. Green, Four legged Enemies. When within 16 blocks they will follow you, when they come 3 or 4 blocks close they will hiss and expand and in a few seconds they will explode!

Avoid them unless you want to get Gunpowder!

Weapon Recommended: Bow and Arrows.

You can aim at them from a distance which means they won't follow you.

Zombies:

The stupidest mob with no brain and yet always looking for brains to eat. Once Zombies see you they will not stop until you are either dead or very far away. They are slow mobs with no special abilities and no weapons. If you die and have a weapon or armour they will pick it up and use it.

Weapon Recommended: Any Sword (Diamond is best)

Swords are the best weapon for Zombies as they will not explode or do anything if you are close to them.

Spiders:

Like most spiders in real life they are deadly creatures. There is are big differences to the ones in Minecraft and in real life, for one they are huge and for another thing they can swim and are immune to water. Spiders are blind in the day time so they will not try to kill you.

Weapon Recommended: Any.

As this mob has no special powers you can use whatever in combat with a spider and use any tactic.

Enderman:

The tallest and one of the strongest enemy. They are long black creatures with purple eyes. They have the ability of Teleportation which in combat can be confusing. They will only attack when you look at them in the eyes so unless you are well prepared do not look into their eyes!

Weapon Recommended: Water Bucket.

I know what you're thinking, what water? But that's for drinking, that's not a weapon. Endermen are vulnerable to water, so carry a lot around as they can teleport and escape.
