ALTERNATE COUNTRIES
The Kingdom of Wales, Ireland and Scotland
During America's revolutionary war against Britain, Britain sends over the large majority of the troops, and Scotland, having their own everlasting hate for Britain's empire, sees a chance to attack the country and make a new kingdom, now under Scotland's rule. With Scotland's large, rebel army, they attack and overwhelm the British crown, kill the royal family, and overtake the British colonies, give rebel colonists what they want, (Besides independance) and in time, become's the world's most powerful trade, military, and agricultural country.
The New Republic of Canada
Canada. The peaceful ally to America, and the rest of the world. Until now. Canada is fed up with all of the crap America gives it, and tries to diplomatically gain some of America's land, mostly the northern states. When the US denies its request, and places sanctions on Canada, they get mad and ally Mexico and all powers around the US, and begin their siege. Canada attacks from the north, and Mexico from the south, both recieving aid from Argentina, Brazil, and Russia. The allied countries overpower the US, Central America, and South America, growing to become the controllers of both the America's, and most of the world's trade.
United Corporations of America
The major corporations have began to monopoloize all of America's industry, and even the world, and are not yet satisfied. Corporations begin to develop an influence in world politcs, slowly taking over world governments. The US, being reliant on the corporations, is the frist to fall, and the new government begins to regulate daily life, such as what products you use, shuting down all remaining companies not represented in government, and replacing government officials with company representatives. All companies that have a seat in government have a place on the new flag, and due to the control of the global economy, the country's influence spreads worldwide.
The Worldwide British Crown
Ah, the British colonies. In this timeline, the British colonies are rebellious, with the exception of the US and Canada. New Zealand, Australia, and the other British colonies begin to rebel, but the North American colonies' influence on the world diverts the forming rebel alliances, and British rule spreads across the world. France, Germany, and most of Europe falls to the British, and Britain becomes the rule of the world, except Africa and Asia, constantly rivaling with Asia's growing technology.
The Royal Democratic Monarchy of the Egyptian Empire
When overtaken by the Romans, the Egyptians form a somewhat secret army planning to overthrow their new hosts. Their army does, in fact, overthrow the Romans, and the Egyptians gain control of most of Saharan Africa, and due to their early start with mathematics and sciences, get a head start on the world's technology and trade. The Egyptians maintain their religion, and their Pharaoh king, and become a military power. Trade expands through the Medditeranian and Red Seas, And their influence on the world grows.
