Hello again!
I'd like to give a shout out to forresthopkinsa for suggesting something like this to me in person last year, and I thought it was great.

You most likely have heard of the Aether mod (click here for info), and you almost definitely have been to the nether. These are great examples of alternate worlds within each Minecraft world. But you have to go through certain requirements to get to each, such as getting the portal materials, preparing yourself for going there. My dream/nightmare idea is a bit different...

Imagine this. Night is approaching fast, you have to have light (aka daylight) to see, and you get into your bed. At this point, you'd right click on the bad, and in singleplayer. you'd wait about four seconds and then it would be daytime. With my idea in place, it would happen like this. Night is approaching fast, you have to have light (aka daylight) to see, and you get into your bed. Every so often, however, you see the swirls that you'd see when entering a portal. You can back out and get out of the bed, but soon you see the world changing (aka "Entering the Dreamworld"). When you regain consciousness, you're in a different place, with either floating islands, or, on rare occasions, a dark plains with monsters roaming everywhere.

I can see this happening, a single Minecraft world has 3 "worlds," the Overworld, the Nether, and the End. If these changes were added, there would be 5, adding the Dreamworld and the Nightmare World. I imagine that in these dream worlds, you'd start with a blank inventory, and your inventory from the Overworld would be saved and reappear when you "wake up," about a quarter Minecraft day later.In the dream world, there could be new items, such as a "re-awakener", which could end the dream instantly. To progress in these worlds, you would need to repetitively sleep in a bed and collect resources from the dream world. A rare occurrence when sleeping would be appearing with no resources on a desolate black place with monsters everywhere, and the only way to get out would be to get killed.

Well this is my Minedeas entry--I gave an idea for Minecraft.
(EVEN THOUGH it was disqualified!)
Why it was disqualified
And I'm like, "Hey dude! Cmon lots of other people have taken their stuff from mods! At least I changed it!" But its stil DQ'd and I don't get any more views. :'(
