Hello everyone! This is my first blog post. I'd like everyone to know that my blog on Planet Minecraft will have posts in many different categories; in other words, my Planet Minecraft blog is a multimedia blog. Don't be surprised if you see me posting an article one moment and a story another.

Many people think blogs are just blogs. I think they're wrong. They think you can blog however you like, whatever style; I'm not saying this isn't true, but there are some methods of blogging that get on people's nerves, and quickly. Since this is my first blog post, I thought it would be nice to start my blog off with an article of some sort. To go with the first-post theme, I decided on the topic of how not to blog.

First thing's first. Use correct spelling and grammar! If you aren't the best speller or if English isn't your best subject, try your hardest to make your blog post look like you know your stuff. It's easier to read "My username on Planet Minecraft is iheartbellatrix" compared to "mi usrnam on Planit Minekraft iz iheartbellatrix".

Second, be yourself! Don't try to act sophisticated and mature when you're a bright and jumpy kind of person. Let others know you as who you are, not who you want to be! If they don't like how you act or your personality, fine! Let them be that way. Don't let anyone change you. Don't wear a mask over your face (it's an expression; if you went as Jason for Halloween or something, continue with your day) or be ashamed of your persona.

Third, be interesting! Try to put humor or sarcasm into your posts. There are so many ways you can make your blog look colorful and fascinating. Not many people want to read a dull and boring article on the Mississippi River. (No offense the people of Mississippi. I'm only using it as an example. ;) )

Last, blog about what your heart desires. If you want to write stories or post comics, go for it! No one is going to stop you. You shouldn't be blogging about something that you despise.
