How to Keep New PLayers From Leaving a Server!

Hello, today I will be giving you tips on how to keep new players from leaving your server!

Be the Server's Welcome Mat: Whenever they join, try giving them a good impression my simply saying "Welcome!"
Show 'n' Tell: Show them around, if there are warps, tell him the command on how to get the. Then, make sure to tell the player about the warp. If the server is more vanilla-like, then just show him around your house.
Give Them a Place to Stay: Either build and Inn of sorts or just let the new player live in your creepy basement, like me... don't judge me!
Giving: Give them some junk, maybe leather armor, just things like that can help them out.
Doggyor Kitty: Get the new guy a pet, dogs can protect against anything but creepers, and cats can only protect against creepers...

What NOT to do:

Spawn Camp: Do not spawn camp them, I bet you maybe after the third kill, they'll be gone.
Stalker: Do not follow them all the way to their new house, then end up raiding it and leaving nothing else there. If I were the victim, I'd be long gone...
Troll: Do not troll them. Don't even break the blocks in front of the new player while using and invisibility potion and convincing them Herobrine exists...
Show off: Don't just stand there with a fully enchant diamond armor set and just staring at the new player. I mean, you should at least get him some stuff.
Do not: and I mean, do not just watch him die by a skeleton, while standing stile.
Lil' Kicker: If you are aspecial staff member, do not keep kicking him out of the server for fun.
Filthy Mouth: Try not to use and inappropriate language, I mean just one word could cause the player to leave, you never know what age the other players are.
Personal: Do not keep asking the new player personal stuff, I mean really, do not.
Silent Treatment: Another one is to just not respond to him whenever he is asking questions.
"Burrow": Do not ask for something to burrow and not give it back, some people that have been in the server for maybe 2 weeks would forget it, but a new person would simply leave.

11. Do not not give me a diamond!
