We were testing a teleportation device constructed by NASA made to teleport us to different planets. NASA had set it up so it would teleport our small group of 11 could teleport to the opposite side of the planet and there would be a helicopter waiting for us there. All of us 11 stepped in the huge glass cylinder. All crowded together. The NASA scientist, Armstrong closed the entrance to the large cylinder and activated the machine. After waiting patiently for 5 minutes, I could feel the electricity around us.

Just then the person right next to me shouted,"Look up!" In the top of the cylinder, a small yellow dot appeared. That dot got bigger and bigger until it was as wide as the capsule. Then, all of us lifted into the air and got sucked into the yellow. As I was being teleported, a minute felt like a lifetime. Pain. Lots of pain all over. I was panicking, but as the pain stopped, my body felt numb. My eyes could not stand it. I stood unconscious.

I woke up with the Sunlight in my eyes. As I stood up, something felt different. But I couldn't put a finger on it... I walked around my location. It seemed to be a small island with a few trees. Great. The helicopter better get here soon. I had everything I had before being teleported. A meal of potatoes and chicken. I decided to look for the rest squad. I could only find 2. They had already woken up and were sitting under the shade of a tree. As I came to them, a felt a word pecking at the back of my mind, but I just couldn't reach it.

The 2 that I found were Eric and Gilbert. The 2 smarter and younger ones of the squad. "Where's everyone else?" I asked. Eric, with a tint of anger in his voice, " They left. They build a raft and left. "They left without telling us. We were sleeping. And now we're stuck in this square island in this square world!" As realization struck me, I stood shocked. The word at the back of my mind was square. The sun here was square, The trees were, I am!

I felt light headed. This must be my imagination, I thought, None of this is true! But even that didn't convince me. I'd never had such a vivid imagination! I paced around the island as I felt better enough to walk. Only squids swam in the water. The world looked completely different. Temperature was not as effective in this world, but I could feel a little heat and sweat.

BR> As the "Sun" began to descend across the sky and the world grew darker, I decided to explore the island a little more. I chose to wander through the trees. As I went deeper and deeper, I stumbled upon a cave. I decided not to enter the cave, but to just look into it. I could see a few ores in the cave walls. There was rust on the floor, a sure sign of iron. I decided a few steps into the cave wouldn't hurt.

I crouched and examined the walls. This whole world looked so ancient and forgotten. I wonder if people lived in this world. Suddenly, the smell of gunpowder filled my nose. I looked up from the iron and saw it. "It" was another name for a green, armless creature who wore a frown on its face. I took a few steps back but my back it the cave wall. It came slowly to me, but that made things even more terrifying.

Once it was an arm's reach from me, it started to hiss. My instincts came in, I ran around past him until I reached the cave exit. As I was turning around, I looked back. It got paler and paler while hissing, once I didn't think it could get paler, it exploded.

I was blown into a tree. Where my side hit the tree I thought it was broken. With the rest of my effort, I looked back into the cave. Lying on the ground next to fallen gravel lay a pile of gunpowder. Before I could do anything else, pain and exhaustion overcame me and I was soon unconscious.
