so for obvious reasons you want to know how to make a minecraft skin

step 1 open your start menu and click run and type in %appdata% then open your .minecraft folder and click bin

step 2 then open minecraft.jar and open your mobs folder and drag the default skin into a new folder on your desktop then open it with any one these programs paint.net adobe photoshop or gimp

step 3 edit it any way you want and save it

step 4 right click it and click send to compressed zip folder then put it in your skin folder and right click and click extract here
