Hello and welcome to my first interview! Today, I am interviewing a rather well known author Seska Rotan.

1) Is there somewhere special you go to write?
Well, really, it's nowhere special. Just, If I get a new idea, I tend to just write it on whatever paper I have on me (Or my arm, haha), and when I have time, I'll just start writing on my PC, downstairs. It's generally quite quiet, which is good cause I find it hard enough to focus on my writing, sometimes.

2) Is there a certian writing method you use?
Well, it really depends on what I'm trying to do with it. If it's an action scene or I'm trying to build up tension, I'll use far more shorter sentences to quicken the pace, whereas if I'm setting the scene, for example, or describing a character, I'll use longer sentences, often broken up with punctuation.

3) Is there any place you get your humor sentences?
Haha, yep. Well, I take most of it from my own personality, and my own sense of humour, but at first I had trouble incorporating that element of comedy into my writing. I read books by the author Anthony Horowitz when I was younger, and I think adapting his style really helped me to get comedy to work in my writing.

4) Are you working on anything at the moment?
Yes actually. I'm working on a Zombie story with my Girlfriend, and I'm going to release an extract from the book to PMC sometime soon, hopefully. It's down and gritty like any Zombie story should be, with plenty of gore, don't worry, but I'm also throwing in something knew. I'm going to be trying to incorporate a new theme that I haven't worked with before, certainly not in a Zombie story. It's going to be risky, but hopefully it'll work out okay. We'll just have to wait and see.

5) Will you be continuing the Cheap Holiday/Into the forest series?
Well, yes, I will be, and I hopefully want to bring out some more follow-up chapters, but I'm real busy right now, not to mention behind with Art Requests, so I really don't know when they will be released. But there WILL be more. Watch this space.
