Everyone knows the trolls. The trolls are the annoying, irritating, and terribly unoriginal users all over the internet. Their main mission is to make you mad. All they want is for you to get angry and feed them. I will give you one sentence that will end your worries about trolls forever: Don't feed the trolls.

The reason for this is because you're giving them what they want. They're accomplishing what they came for, and that's the worst thing for you to do in a situation with them. Act like they don't offend you, that you couldn't care less about what they're saying. If they're in the PMC chat, private message a mod about the troll so that they get kicked.

Yep, you heard me. The know-it-alls are the people who think that they know, in fact, everything. They try to correct you all the time and usually act rather cocky when they're right. They think that everyone knows what they know and gets really annoyed when someone, perhaps, let's say, new to Minecraft came into chat and asked how to make a pickaxe.

These people can be approached the way you do trolls, but to a lesser level. Just ignore them and say "thank you" if they answer a question of yours. You don't have to do anything else. They aren't doing anything against the rules; they're just being rather ridiculous towards you.

These are very, very, very annoying people. The ALL-CAPS'ers, as I call them, rage very easily. If you say one thing to tick them off, they'll most likely REPLY TO YOU IN ALL CAPS, curse back in response, or shoot various insults at you. These people shouldn't be taken very lightly, because they can get very far with their violent words. The response back to them is easy.

Tell them to calm down. If they don't and continue to throw cusses at a rapid-fire speed, then report them to a mod or admin. This is the best thing to do. They're polluting the happy community, wherever you find them, and they have no right to do what they're doing. Get them out of there as quickly as possible so that they don't spoil the fun, whether you're on PMC, YouTube, Twitter, anything!

These people are rather annoying as well. They think that they're so cool, with three subscribers on their PMC profile, and that their skins are high quality (cough not really! cough). They usually beat up other people, saying that their content on Planet Minecraft is much better than theirs, and don't give valid feedback. How do you respond to these people, you say?

The thing is, you don't.

Of course, you can tell them (politely, of course) that they aren't all that good, but they aren't doing much harm. They're being cocky and unhelpful, yes, but they aren't breaking the rules; they just have big egos. You don't have to do much about these people unless they annoy you a whole lot.

Hopefully, YOU are the helpful person in PMC chatrooms and the forums. Hopefully, YOU are the happy, respectful person that everyone wants to know. Hopefully, YOU are the one to give nice feedback to content on the front page and welcome every new player to join a server. These people are well loved, respected, and selfless.

If you aren't how I describe you and are one of the cliques from 1-4, try to change yourself. Try to be nicer. Try to be more liked. People don't like trolls, hate the forever-to-be wannabes, and the cocky know-it-alls. Do what's good for all of us, and most of all, YOU! Do what the PMC staff looks for. Be a responsible, well liked person of our Minecraft community.
