I've seen a lot of people wearing all of these teenager or other common skins. I'm not saying that you shouldn't wear them, but they're seriously not very creative. I'd prefer if you make your own skin, rather than download some other person's. The entire point of custom skins is to show your personality and to be creative. How are you doing that by finding some overrated skin online on the "Skindex" or other stupid skin website where none of the skins are even half good. I made my skin from scratch. I had zero experience, zero templates, and zero inspiration. I just made a skin that I thought I would like to wear, and I love it! When you download  a skin, you can't love it; you can't say that it shows who you are because it shows who the creator is. See, I'm a mapmaker, a modder, a  Bukkit plugin developer, a skinner, and a redstonist. All of these require creativity and a personal style. All of these express who I am, and what I create from these abilities also shows who I am. Skins are supposed to show who you are. If the skin you wear doesn't express who you are, why should you even wear it. If you download some random skin off the internet, you're completely missing the point of skins. In fact, the main reason I posted my skin was because I was proud of my work, not so some Minecrafter could wear it. If you download my skin, I'd prefer you use it as a template, not as the skin you wear.

I see a lot of people ranting about all of these common skins that people are always wearing. What's the point of ranting when all you're saying is that all of these skins are stupid. They're not stupid; people like to wear them. Why would you even rant about them if you can't come up with a good reason or a valid point. These people like the skins they wear, and that's that. If they wanna wear a teenager skin, let them. There's no point in trying to change who a person is because a person will always be who they are no matter how horrible a person you think they are. There isn't any problem with people wearing teenager skins, so there's no reason to complain about them. I've seen a server where teenager skins weren't even allowed. I  never got on the server a second time and left as soon as I read that rule. If people wanna wear their skins, let them. I can't see any point in complaining about people wearing skins they like.
