I have played the 1.7 snapshot, and really, it's not the best in my opinion. It changes the color of the sugarcane plant block. It also adds tons of useless flowers (unless you like dyes). The biomes though are pretty sweet, and so far, fishing has quite improved. It adds three fish, salmon, clownfish, and pufferfish. Only the slamon can be cooked, pufferfish can be used to make a potion of water-breathing, and clownfish are only for eating raw.
