Whenever you post a project on PlanetMinecraft there is always one thing in the back of your mind... Diamonds. they are the trophy of a sucessful submition and will almost always put a smile on your face when someone takes the time to share their diamond with you. However I find that many people are stubbon when it comes to sharing a click with someone for their hard work. Personally when I share a diamond with someone I look at the time and effort that has gone into a submittion but many people will almost never share a diamond unless the project realtes to them directly.
I feel that this reduces the time and effort that people spend on their work as they sometimes do not feel that it it worth it or that they will not be rewarded. Although there are some downsides to being too lenient when sharing diamonds, like instant pop reels and an XP boost, there are many more benefits that can come from sharing a diamond not only based on quality but also the time that went into someones work.
Firstly, knowing that people are acknowledging and ae intracting with your work gives a major confidence boost. This allows people to work without worrying about the diamond count and keep focused on quality content. The quality of content is a major factor when it comes to diamonds. If people feel that someone will see and ate their work they will put more effort into making each submittion their best and bring quality content to the community.
Secondally the confidence boost that comes with a diamond will encorage people to explore new ideas and being unique content to PlanetMinecraft. This will stop the constant act of purgery that comes with the stealing of content or idea.
What can you do?
The next time that you see a submittion that dosen't fit your taste or dosent really give that 'spark' that makes you think this me, look at the time that someone has put into the content and to make it a good as they possibly can. Take a second to think, does this person have potential to greate great work? Then decide, does this person deserve a diamond. Not because their work is perfect, but because they have done the best they can.

I have added a message asking for opinions, I would live to hear what other people think about diamonds.
