★✰★✰★A new paint horse had galloped in from the plains! ★✰★✰★
This horse is a black tovero paint. Tovero is a term used to designate the white pattern on a paint or pinto horse. It means that the white markings on the horse cross the spine somewhere on the horse. In this case, it is the neck. However, a tovero has limited splashes of white on the coat, and the horse is primarily solid-colored. This horse was also given a longer mane to add to its lovely coat pattern.
Paint and pinto horses have four different patterns: Medicine Hat (Those sometimes included with the others) Overo, meaning the white spots do not cross the spine. Tobiano, meaning large splashes of white that do cross the spine. Legs usually are white as well. Tovero, mostly solid-colored but one or more of the white patterns cross the spine.
My goal is to add some realistic colors from different breeds with unique markings for people to enjoy. My first set is paint and pinto horses, and my next project will be a set of Fjord colors.
