This project started off rather odd. I've always wanted to create a pyramid. However, just a regular pyramide would be kind of easy and tbh kind of plain in the Minecraft universe, so I decided to create a building surrounding its base, giving it more identity than just another pyramid. Given how I've always been a sucker for neo-classical architecture, I set off designing the building in that style and see how it'd turn out. Quite satisfied with the result I wondered what other styles I could throw in there before it got too awkward, which is how I ended up with a cross between several famous buildings from around the globe and different millenia.

In case you're wondering where the interior went: there is none. Minecraft is simply too limited when it comes to interiors, so I won't bother with it anymore until it either gets improved or I have an epiphany of how to succesfully make something decent with the tools at hand. If someone out there does have the skill to make an appealing interior with Minecraft, feel free to have a go at it with this shell of a building. A building without an interior is just a sculpture and I won't mind some pointers towards making my projects more than that.

The texture pack I used is an old version of Aza's Arid Pack. However, the old version is no longer available for download through his thread, so I've taken the liberty of uploading it myself. I highly advise you use this texture pack when viewing this project, because certain blocks used don't match well with most other texture packs.
