Darn. I went back to remix my design and make the vertical variant of the Dominican flag, but you already did. Later on the day it was posted, too. lol. I guess I'll just write the description on here instead.


When the Dominican Republic flag is hung vertically, a special variant is used with the cantons reversed and the emblem rotated upright. This is the correct vertical display.

thanks !! and a cool piece of trivia :) i was working through all the flags of the world and wanted to get them right so did a little research into them, some may be wrong, or inaccurate, but pretty happy with them so far

When I was making my country flags, I started with each design as it would appear with a standard clockwise rotation. But since many countries reverse their flag or have a special variant when hung vertically, I went back through and made those reverse/variant designs too. This was one of a few that was already completed.
