If you want to know about my Christianity. Private message me private message me any questions you have. I'd be very willing to talk about it.
This is where I put specific verses/quotes that I want to have up for me to remember and for others to see. This section of my page is designed by a Christian for other Christians. If you don't want any part in Christianity, it's okay (and recommended) for you to ignore this widget. You do not need to read these.

This was something my small group sent out as we went through Luke 18:18-30. This particular topic was about true surrender to God. If you believe that he really is all-powerful and all-loving, and if he really is lord of your life, you can, and
should, trust him with everything you have.
Luke 18:24-27Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” Those who heard this asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus replied, “What is impossible with people is possible with God.”
Romans 1:16-17
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also the Greek. For it in the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, "the righteous shall live by faith."
-
Psalm 37:12-13
"The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming."
-
Psalm 16: 5-6
“Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.”
“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written:
“It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
1-2: everyone is born following after Satan and listening to the world's Godless view of how life works. And to this day, Satan is still working within people across the world.
3: Every Christian was one of them, giving themselves no restraint to do whatever they wanted and using their own desires as their only reason for life. Because of this, we deserve our punishment for what we did against a perfect and all-powerful God.
4-5: But God, being wholly merciful and wholly loving, cared so much about us as his creation, that he gave us a means to escape our own selfish lifestyle, and he did this before we made a change.
6-7: Then, God set to bring us up into Heaven with Jesus, and that is there we will one day see the farthest bounds of his love and mercy and truly understand his sacrifice of Christ.
8-9: This path of new life is entirely a gift from God, it is not anything that you yourself did. No one can be positioned as any better than the rest. Your works don't earn your salvation.
10: Because we are God's creation, he has already enabled us to do good things through this new life provided by Jesus.
