So you may or may not know that we're installing Tekkit to our server soon (along with a few more updates that'll make the server more managable).
We're doing a lot of work to improve the server and we're aiming to attract a less greify audience than before.
The introduction of Tekkit is a big decision and we believe it's a good direction for the server to go in. Tekkit introduces a lot of "end game" content. I'm hoping that you guys will work together and build communities that we can all be proud and inspired by.
Me and Andy have spent a lot of time discussing the future of the server and between us and the other ops we understand that as we change over there'll be problems to begin with but we'll hopefully be able to sort them as they arise, if not before. So bare with us, we try our best for you guys.
Also, if you have any Tekkit related questions feel free to post them in the comments or drop me an e-mail.
I'll be writing up a how-to install tutorial and a getting started thing.
I've also spend a heap of time constructing a new spawn zone for you guys. It is completed now and it's the first thing you'll see as you spawn in as a new player. When we get Tekkit up and running you can have more involvement and....well, we'll see how it goes,
