| Before we get started, tell the audience a bit about yourself. CornCobDog: hey im cob, 15 turning 16 year old artist that used to be based in australia, and pmc is a my main place for sharing my art, which also includes my texture packs also i say funny words and sometimes use my alt account ZappyGru: Alright then! Nice to meet you. |
| What is your alt account's username? CornCobDog: oh its a pretty small account dont know if youve heard of it FishStacks, i think it was ZappyGru: That's funny, I'm his alt account. |
| What content do you usually make on PMC? CornCobDog: well, i love posting wallposts, but recently i havent been doing that much recently id love to say that im working on crispy cabin, my resourcepack, but im actually not lol, im taking a break for now ZappyGru: That's okay, we all have our breaks every now and then! CornCobDog: i am working on a new season of creator cards though, that is one of my favourite projects thus far, and im excited to bring it backjust saying, ive never said anything about creator cards 3 before though, so thats a planet zappygru exclusive for you ZappyGru: Cool! |
| So what you're saying is that this is the first time this project has been publicly mentioned? CornCobDog: yep, this is the first time that i have announced the return of creator cards last season was 3 months ago here i'll even drop an exclusive ;) shooting for bigger creators this time, but ill definitely still be doing the pmc folk  ZappyGru: It looks great! The shading, proportions, and colors all fit well together. CornCobDog: thanks zappy! |
| What kind of hobbies do you have on your free time? CornCobDog: obviously art is a big one, but i love doing sports as well, running, basketball, professional taekwondo, i got the whole lot i try to think i make youtube videos with some consistency, but maybe not yet and i love being in discord vc and just chatting about things, its very nice ZappyGru: That's actually pretty funny, most of the things you just said are hobbies that I have in some way. CornCobDog: nice! |
| How did you find PMC? Was it by a video, a friend, or did you just happen to stumble upon it? CornCobDog: ive actually been on pmc since 2018, just lurking and not posting much i think i found it out by mickey joe's resourcepack "mickey's relatively enhanced default" so big props to him ZappyGru: Interesting, most people who have found this site is because of popular submissions such as the one you mentioned. CornCobDog: yep it be like that and i love how with my pack crispy cabin, ive also introduced a good many people to this site too ZappyGru: That's great that you're introducing many new people onto the site! CornCobDog: we all do that in a way, even youd be doing it :) ZappyGru: I guess so! |
What would be considered your greatest strengths and weaknesses? hmm well my greatest strength would be that im quite easy to get along with i hope im just more passive than most people, and usually im the first to apologise for anything greatest weakness would be envy, i very easily get envious of people and often become sad just scrolling on twitter lmao though that could also be for other reasons, you see tons of tragic takes on twitter ZappyGru: I never really liked Twitter for the endless amount of people who seem to never take the time to use their brains just for a few seconds. CornCobDog: an awful lot of stupid takes that shouldve remained in the drafts folder |
| What sort of style of submissions do you generally make? CornCobDog: i try to keep my art style consistent as of late, so more desaturated colours are always a win in the past ive focussed on unique concepts and innovative use of optifine ctm, which was always what helped my older packs stand out i still believe than uniqueness is a very important part to getting those 100 diamonds, so i try to stay true to that in all of my submissions ZappyGru: Quality over quantity is always better than quantity over quality! |
| What do you normally do on PMC? CornCobDog: well, i love browsing through the top trending resourcepacks for the day, and looking all wallposts i havent posted many recently, maybe i should change that ZappyGru: You should. Your creations are great, and I'd definitely check it out when it's uploaded! CornCobDog: thanks! |
| How did you come up with the username, CornCobDog? CornCobDog: hmmm well, i love corn on the cob personally, and i loved dogs, so i just merged the two its also really important to have a easy nickname you can get from your name, for exmaple PinkuRinku i would call him pinku, BoldMuddy i could call muddy, so for me, CornCobDog becomes cob ZappyGru: It's a short and sweet username that has both a good sound to it, and good nickname potential. CornCobDog: thanks zappy or would gru be better? ZappyGru: Originally, I wanted to have my nickname as Gru, but most people went by Zappy or Zap. Eventually, it resonated with me, and so I became used to those names. |
| On your PMC account, it seems that you have a Youtube channel, what do you normally post on there? CornCobDog: yep, so my youtube is a hot mixed bag nowfor the next year, i really do look forward to being more consistent, now that ive reached 100 subsi will be uploading resourcepack update videos almost every month i hopeand i will be still making fun videos with friends, and fellow artists, playing on smps and the like |
| What kind of resource packs are you talking about? CornCobDog: crispy cabin mainly ZappyGru: That's interesting to hear. |
| It seems that you're good friends with chickenpants93 and FishStacks, how did you guys become friends? CornCobDog: sorry chickenpants if youre reading this, im not too sure how we met, but for fishstacks, yeah we are pretty close it came from interacting in comments, wallposts, and i think its mostly how we can bounce off each other decently well wont lie, it was the community that helped us become closer, through the funny fights, the british arc, the alt accounts, all of that was fun to do and brought us closer (edited) oh and we also spent 20 hours working on one pack together, that became fish's biggest pack and now we share a twitter account so |
| Another question that is related to this, how did the multiple alt accounts joke happen? CornCobDog: i have no clue, i think it came from fishstacks claiming that he was my alt accounti thought that was hilarious since i was level 20 at the time, and owning a level 60 account was stupidly sick |
| Oho, it seems that we're near the end of the interview! I got a few smaller questions to ask you before we wrap things up! What is your favorite food/drink? CornCobDog: corn and uh corn juice What is your favorite game to play (assuming it's not Minecraft)? CornCobDog: trying to get into terraria decently but its a tough game to get into haha i love smash, but im the worst at it ZappyGru: If you ever fought me in Super Smash Bros., I'd definitely destroy you! CornCobDog: i actually was 10th in the world for kirby amazing mirror 200% speedrun oh ill be waiting for that day ZappyGru: Smash Ultimate, right? CornCobDog: sure i mainly played brawl but ultimate works ill still be mashing keys randomly With our final question, what would you like to say to the audience before we finish things up? I think it was me doing to rounds of looking for cool artists, which worked out great!
- "What is you're favorite game to play (assuming it's not Minecraft)?"
- "What is you're favorite food/drink?"
- Capitalization. Some of Corn's responses aren't capitalized where they should
