I have came back into the Minecraft Community and realised my old blog 'How To Improve Your FPS! (Optifine Best Settings+20FPS)' was a big hit and has over 9400+ views. I am very proud of that sort of achievement, and I am now back to bring you all a new update on how to improve your FPS using Optifine.

Today i'm going to tell you how to improve your FPS using Optifine 1.7.9, this is almost guarenteed to improve your FPS by 20+

First you'll need to download Optifine @ www.optifine.net you need to install Optifine 1.7.9 to get the latest update.

After this you need to run the java file which will then automatically create a Minecraft profile named 'Optifine' Use this profile and start minecraft up.

Now that you have installed Optifine and are ready to play go to Settings > Video Settings and copy the following Settings:


* You can change your Render Distance to 8 Normal*

Next go to Details and change your settings to the following:



Next go to Animations and change your settings to the following:



Next go to Quality and change the following settings:



Next go to Performace and change the following settings:



Next go to Other settings and change the following settings:




NOTE - This also works for tekkit, Tekkit automatically installs Optifine so all you have to do is follow the settings which are shown above!
