Listening to the rain drop in a soft pace was very soothing and calming. I laid back in my recliner chair sipping a nice cup of tea. I looked out of my huge windows and looking down on the little city below my view. It felt great being on top of the world. I felt a vibration on my desk as I picked up my iPhone 6s. "Oh, hey bro." I said flicking some strands of black hair. My brother and I had a conversation about our lives now. During the time, I never knew how many people were being hurt and being separated in this cruel world that I loved to dominate. I sat up and brushed off my clothes as I walked over to my front door. I went down the steel elevator and ignoring all the homeless people as I walked to my job. "Ahh, hello Miss Janet, good to see you again!" My work assistant said as I nodded to her and walked into my office.

Time skip....

Coughing in bed, I brought a shivering hand up to my forehead. I really didn't know I had come down with a terrible disease. I looked over to my left as I saw my brother streaming with tears as he rested his head on the side of me. I laid back down placing a quaking hand on his cheek whispering, "It'll be alright." and closing my eyes. I never thought I would see him again.

I've been crying since my parents died. People were flashing looks at a starving child who's eyes were watering up as she kept on thinking about her past life. On how much she ignored these kind of people, when she could've been helping them to prevent this tragedy from ever happening again. I sat there staring at the falling sun as I closed my eyes realizing on the times I have spent ignoring this world.
