In English class, I had to take a Christmas poem and rewrite it into our own version. Mine is really weird, but It got an A, so that's that. Here it is:(Also, comment if you know what the original poem is)

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas…For a dog.
´Twas the night before Christmas, and all through my yard,My doghouse was cold, and sleeping was hard.I went outside to look for my food,When the cat started being rude.

I heard a CRASH and a clatter,I ran to my doghouse to see what was the matter.The cat had snuck in, and took my bowl,And he ran to the street lamp pole.
“I hate that cat.” I said in my head.Then I went back to bed.I found a blanket, that was not there before,But sitting there without sleep was such a bore.
Then out of the sky, came a”Ho ho ho.“I looked up and I wanted to know.A sleigh with 8 reindeer flew out of sight.“Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.“
