Chapter 8! I can't belive I've made it this far! Now strap in and read!
When we followed him, we went down a secret passageway to the hideout that they were hiding in. The group was about 200 men strong, with about 150 of them originally knights, and the other 50 people who were there to kill the one who caused the destruction. They looked at me curiously, and then one spoke up.
“You were that kid at the slaughter of the order of the Tarnished Knights!’’
The knights started talking to each other. So from what I could tell, this was the grand army of the knights:

He showed me that this was the grand army (or what it used to be) and that they had to reunite the survivors. The Broken Knights were completely killed off except for Troy, the Berserkers’ numbers were greatly reduced, and the Darkened Knights were scattered across the land. The other two order’s reduced squads were here. I didn’t know what to think about this. I knew though that this would be a hard battle. We were greatly outnumbered, not to mention some of the Knights had joined Nako just to survive. Then, someone (or Someones) bursted through the door, and it took me a little bit to realize they were my friends.
“Where have you been!?” I yelled!
Nayru said, “You ditched us there.” “NOT COOL!!!”
The cat sighed. “You have some anger problems, binkus.”
Ares just shoved me and said nothing.
Din just said, “Just learn to calm down.”
I sighed. “Listen.” “I had a lot I just went through.” “So please, if I’m mad, don’t bother me about it.’’ “Now, as you can see, these are the survivors of the knights that once defended the land from all kinds of terrors.” “Nako almost completely killed them off, and these are the survivors.”
Ares then replied, “This group of N**gers defended the land from threats?” “Doubt they could kill a thing of slime!” He then laughed out loud. “These are the men who have to defeat Nako, one who can summon monsters and who killed the leader of the knights!?” “I’m starting to think the other side is better!”
“Don’t you give me any of that Bulls**t, Ares!” I yelled. “I didn’t want this, yet you act like this is my fault!?” “The gods have toyed with me!” “So you better learn how to shut your piehole, or there will be problems.”
He seemed pretty shook up, and he left.
“Sir,” One of the Knights said, “How are we going to defeat Nako!!??”
Just then, monsters bursted in, and the knights immediately went into formations and fought. I went up and slashed the nearest one. Another one lost his head to the glow sword, and one more got his guts sliced open and fell to the floor, screaming. We were holding them back. We then won! The monsters fled.
“Losses,” I said.
“Five,” a soldier said.
I sighed. “I know what they’re doing.” “They are wearing us down until there is nothing left of us.”
The silence that followed seemed to hang around in the room.
Then someone spoke up; the smallest and youngest in the room said this:
“We can’t give up everyone!” “Don’t tarnish the honor of the knights of the light realm!”
The knights ran out of the room with a roar of fury! I was left behind with Nayru. She looked at me and blushed. I looked back at her and blushed. Then we left. Man, she was kinda creeping me out. I mean, did she like me back!? Who knows…
