Wha? Diamond what are you doing? A rant on America? Why yes simple-minded question asker. I am. So slowly MineCon is coming around. This is the first year it WILL NOT be in America. Have you ever noticed that every other big event goes to Las Vegas. Sure Las Vegas is the party place but that doesn't give it a right to hold events. Look at Canada. We may not have any casinos or anything like Las Vegas but we got beautiful terrain on our side.
How is America supposed to pay for all these cons and what not anyways? Aren't they in debt (please don't flame me mr.)? I don't get it why does America always have to be the center of attention? I'll just be hangin' out in my igloo after a Polar bear ride and then news will come on about how America is in debt. Then 3 days later they announce that they are hosting some BIG event.

Besides, events like MineCon create revenue, which is good. Unless of course it turns out to be a complete failure. You can't make money without spending it.
And besides, surely the statistics I provided you speak for them self.
It's also politics, but I don't want to go into that, you can probably imagine.
The number one rule with the news; assume it's all a lie, and from there you work your way to the truth.
The news is corrupt enough as it is with all the bullshit going on so i wouldn't rely on it anyway.
I also managed to not read this as a flame on America so don't worry too much there.
