Hey I've been playing Minecraft and I don't know what is the xp bar for can you comment this to answer me (crying) don't know what's that forrrr. And go see my other blog they are really nice hope you could find the answer of the mysterious xp bar.

It has no use yet....but there is going to be a use in 1.9 update.

Its supposed to let you get new skills or something.
