"I think we stayed here long enough, Baby dragon, did you get anything?"
"Greg! didn't I tell you not to call me that? I am 18 already!"
Greg is also a member of Zekrome. He has really good looking red busy beard and a very bulky body. He once told me that he used to work as a body guard. No one in Zekrome believes his story because we all know his little sec ...
"AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!" "Get it off me! OFF! OFF!"
"Sigh...." "Greg, it's just a spider ... "I replied with a sigh, as I flicked the spider off from his shoulder.
That's right, Greg has a terrible phobia toward spiders. According to him, he almost died from a bite of one when he was at age of six. I guess they never thought him how to overcome his fears while he was training to be a bodyguard.
"Hmm, Hum! ... I am telling you, Baby Dragon, one day you will understand the fear of Aranidas!", Greg yelled after clearing his throat in an embarrassment.
"Arachnidas, Greg ... AraCHnidas!".
Greg and I were sent to Zone 32 to find whether there is any "touched one" in this area. After spending about 3 weeks, I am starting to think our elite dragon sent out Greg with me just to get rid of him from the base, Lair.
Zekrome has a very distinct caste system. From highest to lowest, we have; the mother, ancient dragon, elite dragon, demi dragon, and hatchling. Interestingly, ranks of each members are not designated by age, but are given depend on the power they posses. Greg is a demi-dragon and I am a hatchling. Demi-dragons usually have powers to transform their bodies. As for Greg, his power is to harden his skins very strong, making them almost impossible to penetrate with any men made arrows, bullets and swords. I, on the other hand, have no power. Members who have the "mark" on them but does not realize their powers are classified as Hatchilings, baby dragons. Elite dragons have powers to amend the environments around them. The mother dragon and the ancient dragons, however, I do not have any idea about their powers or who they are. All I know is that currently there are 8 ancient dragons and their duty is to protect the mother.
"Anyways, no, I was not able to find anything yet, I think we should report in and move to a different sector." I replied grumpy as I stepped on the spider on the ground.
"Ugh! that's the third spider I see today!" Cried Greg.
"Wait! Greg, what did you just say? "
"Nothing?"
"No, you said something about the spiders."
"I said ... that is the third ... ... dammit! "
Ding! Ding! Ding!
A heavy sound of metal rings echoed in the tunnel, putting everyone into fear.
Humanity was put to the test of survival once again ... ..
