Today on the list we have: Are emeralds actually rare?

Well, there are 2 answers to this, and multiple ways of these answers, so let's talk about them! Here we go:

1. Emeralds are rare! Here we have an common answer of a MC player: "Emeralds suck, man! They spawn only in mountains and you can't even use them you should be able to make armor and tools that are better than diamond. Villagers suck, cause they ask for to many emeralds. Screw that!" etc. So yeah... :P. That is sort of true, especially the first part. But...

2. Emeralds are the easiest to get! Here is my answer to the question! Well, let's take 'em one by one:
  2.1. Villagers trade emeralds for wheat, other crops, meat, gold etc. So... First: You find crops in villages
                                                                                                                        Second: You can make crops/zombie pigman farms etc.
                                                                                                                        So: You can sell 'em for a lot of emeralds!
  2.2. Villagers can be reproduced: Just make giant closed cubes and tons of doors, and there you have 'em! Villagers and Iron Golems for days!

So, are emeralds really rare? Do villagers really suck? Are squids really useless? It is up to you, this is just my opinion.
