Being out in games might be considered easy but hiding that fact from real life people is hard. The first time I wore anything LGBTOIA+ related in a videogame was actually not to long ago, and guess what game it was? Minecraft!
At first you'll get nervous and afraid that somebody will call you a certain slur but eventually that fear will subside (never really disappear but it won't haunt you) and you'll realize that no one really cares what your Minecraft skin looks like as long as it's not one of those naked skins which no matter who you are is kind of awkward to see.
Some knowledge from an old Minecraft player is to choose friends wisely. A lot of people I know and met years ago are accepting and some of them are also queer so I shouldn't have a problem talking to them.

Some friends can be weird like how they act and honestly, try and stay away from people like that. If you know their stance on the LGBTQIA+ community then you should be fine. I have an old friend who is kind of confusing because I always wonder what they'd think if I showed up on their realm with a transgender pride shirt and awesome hair.

This was really a rambling thing but if anyone found this useful..... what made it useful? ;w;
