There was once brothers, even opposed with problems that will overwhelm a person, they would still stay together. Like a blood pact they are bound to each other by loyalty and the sheer love of siblings. Marcus, the older of the two is a strong man with even stronger morals. William, the younger sibling, he is a very intelligent man that would question our very existence. Together
they get through the roller coaster we call life. But one day, a grim fate falls upon them both as they get stuck between a war of freedom and greed. One side was the Liberators. they fought to free the slaves of the people who are wealthy yet empty. The other side is the Slavers, as the name suggests they sought to enslave anyone who they think is dirt, who they think are just dead weight to humanity.
Marcus wanted to join the Liberators as he though their cause was just and that no human being deserved such a life. William on the other hand though otherwise. Due to the fact that the Slavers also enslave thief and killers he though that the others were just a minor sacrifice to keep the decent man safe. Marcus begged William to turn around and see what he sees in the Liberators but William just wont see the world as his brother sees it. They argued days upon days on which side they would join but when the streets of the town they lived in began to get littered with corpses and blood, the choice was clear. They had to go in their separate ways.
Years go on. both sides are locked in an epic battle for dominance but in doing so. Thousands of men and woman lost their lives to what seemed like a lost cause.
One day during combat, the brothers cross paths once again. This time, in two different sides of the feud. William was hesitant of attacking his brother, the closest person to him. but on the other side Marcus, corrupted by the deaths of thausands of people, did not hesitate to attack his brother. They fought vigorously as if the fate of the world depended on it.
William: Brother! Stop this madness¨
Marcus: I will not stand here and let your people enslave countless lives!
William: You must understand! This is for the greater good!
Marcus: Lies! All lies! Said by the Slavers to soften your heart!
William: At-least I have a heart! The Slavers make the people safe, they catch people who would kill or steal from decent people who work for a living!
Marcus: Everyone deserves to be free! And if I have to kill you for that, so be it.
Marcus was very strong he overpowered his brother, but William got lucky and knocked him down.
William: Its time to end this.
Marcus: If you're gonna do it, do it now! Its now or never.
William was hesitant to do it, but he jabbed his knife through his brother's chest.
William: Its over!
Marcus: I...was fighting for the greater good...
William: I see the Liberators have good intentions. but they are not intentions that will save everyone.
Marcus: Wha...What do you mean?
William: You see the world in black and white. but in reality its far from it. There is no bad person, only bad intentions. The Liberators intentions are good, if you see it from a fools perspective. They sought to liberate thieves and killers, just so they can have someone to blame. To gain the hearts and minds of the public...
Marcus: I...am sorry brother....ugh
William: If only there was another way. Rest in peace.
