Well, uh, here's the story that I co-wrote with ChatGPT. Challange: figure out which parts I wrote, and which ones the bot wrote

One day, Hyrule's Champions; Mipha, Urbosa, Revali, Daruk, and Link were summoned to Hyrule Castle by Princess Zelda. She had sent out a note telling them of something important.

All of the Champions decided to head to the castle.

As they gathered in the castle's throne room, Zelda greeted them with a serious look on her face.

"I have received a message from a distant land," she said, "It is a place called the United States, and they are facing a great calamity."

"What kind of calamity?" asked Urbosa.

"It seems that there is a group of individuals who are trying to take over the country and turn it into a dictatorship," replied Zelda.

Link's eyes widened. "We cannot let that happen. What can we do to help?"

"That is why I have called you here," said Zelda. "I want you to go to the United States and help them fight against this threat."

The Champions nodded in agreement, ready to embark on a new adventure.

"I will send you there through a portal," said Zelda, as she began to chant a spell.

The room began to glow, and a portal appeared before them.

"Be careful, my friends," warned Zelda, "This will not be an easy task."

The Champions stepped into the portal and were transported to a busy city. They looked around, marveling at the tall buildings and bustling streets. Suddenly, they heard a loud noise and saw a crowd of people running towards them.

"What's going on?" asked Revali.

"We need to get out of here!" shouted a man as he ran past them.

The Champions followed the crowd, running through the streets as chaos erupted around them. They finally made it to a park where a group of people were gathered, holding signs and shouting slogans.

"What is this?" asked Mipha.

"It's a protest," said a young woman who approached them. "We're fighting against the government's corruption and oppression."

The Champions listened to the woman's story, realizing that they had arrived in a country facing a great challenge. They knew they had to help in any way they could. Although they had quite the experience in battling against evil, this was nothing like anything they had seen before.

The cries from the protesters grow louder, yet they remained mostly peaceful in their demonstration.

Mipha turned to the young woman to speak. "May I ask... how long has this been going on for?"

Her soft voice could barely be heard over the screaming of the protests, though.

"Sorry Ma'am," the young woman said quickly. "You're going to have to speak up a bit!"

Mipha nodded and raised her voice. "I said, how long has this been going on for?"

"Months," replied the young woman. "The government has been suppressing our rights for too long, and we've had enough. But they're getting more violent every day. It's only a matter of time before things turn ugly."

Daruk stepped forward. "We will help you in any way we can. What do you need us to do?"

The young woman hesitated. "I don't know. We've been protesting peacefully, but it doesn't seem to be working. Maybe you can use your skills to help us."

Revali spoke up. "We'll need more information about who we're up against and what their plans are. Do you have any leads?"

The young woman nodded. "There's a group called the New Order. They're the ones behind all of this. They have a headquarters in Washington DC. If you can infiltrate their base and find out what they're planning, we might be able to stop them."

Urbosa cracked her knuckles. "Sounds like a challenge. We'll take care of it."

With a plan in mind, the Champions set off towards Washington DC, ready to take on this new challenge. As they journeyed towards the nation's capital, they couldn't help but wonder what kind of opposition they would face in their quest to save the United States.

After talking with some locals, the Champions discovered that they were in a city called Tysons, and that they weren't that far from Washington DC.

While Urbosa and Mipha were busy asking for directions, Daruk and Link briefly strayed off to check out a building called "Bowlero". It seemed to be a venue of sorts for playing a game called 'bowling'.

Revali rolled his eyes at the two, "Really guys? We have a job to do, and you're worried about bowling?"

Daruk chuckled, "Hey, a little fun never hurt anyone. Plus, we can't be on guard all the time, it's important to enjoy ourselves too."

Link nodded in agreement, "Daruk's right. We need to keep our spirits up, especially if we're going to face tough challenges ahead."

Revali huffed, but he knew they had a point. "Fine, but we can't waste too much time. We have a mission to accomplish."

As they continued their journey, the Champions noticed that the atmosphere grew tense as they approached Washington DC. There were more police cars on the road and barricades set up on the streets.

"We need to be careful," warned Urbosa. "It seems like there's more security here than usual."

They arrived at the outskirts of the city and began to make their way towards the New Order's headquarters. As they snuck through alleys and side streets, they noticed more and more armed guards patrolling the area.

"This is not going to be easy," said Link, drawing his sword.

"We didn't expect it to be," replied Mipha. "But we have to try."

The Champions finally arrived at the New Order's headquarters, a tall building with black windows and a forbidding presence. They cautiously entered the building, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

The building was surrounded by shady-looking men in black suits, who quickly noticed the party. One of the men called out at their presence.

"Halt! Who goes there?!"

Acting quickly, Urbosa grinned as she snapped her fingers, calling a bolt of lightning behind the building.

With the guards confused, the Champions were able to enter the headquarters, and immediately made their way into an empty storage room.

"We're in." Urbosa stated silently.

Mipha nodded. "Yes. We must do what we can to figure out what-"

The doorknob jiggled, as if someone was attempting to open it, but once again, the Champions were able to evade being caught.

Link brandished his sword with a slight chuckle. "Heh. They won't be able to open that door now."

As it happened, Daruk had moved over a bit, so that he held the door shut. Even if the one of the New Order's agents did somehow manage to break in, the Champions were ready.

Revali took out a map of the building, which he had obtained earlier. "Alright, we need to make our way to the top floor. That's where the main control room is located. We should be able to find some information there."

The Champions moved stealthily through the building, avoiding guards and security cameras. As they reached the upper floors, the security became even tighter.

"This is getting dangerous," whispered Mipha. "We need to be extra careful from here on out."

As they approached the control room, they could hear voices inside. The New Order's leader, a man named Mr. X, was giving orders to his minions.

"We need to step up our efforts," he was saying. "The protests are getting out of control, and we can't afford to let them win. We need to take more drastic measures."

The Champions exchanged worried glances. It seemed like the situation was worse than they had anticipated.

“We need to stop them," said Urbosa, determination in her voice. "No matter what it takes."

The Champions burst into the control room, ready for a fight. But to their surprise, they found Mr. X and his minions already defeated, tied up and lying on the ground.

"Who did this?" asked Link, confused.

"It was us," said a voice from behind them. They turned to see the young woman from Tysons, who had asked for their help. "We couldn't wait any longer. We had to take action."

The Champions smiled. It seemed like their mission was a success after all. Together with the young woman and the protesters, they had managed to defeat the New Order and restore peace to the city.

Ultimately, Mr. X and his minions were tried and arrested, and for a while, everything was at peace. During that time, the Champions were able to spend more leisure time visiting around the city and learning more about the country's history.

Everything changed on a rainy day a few months later. Link and Mipha had taken the Metro to visit the National Mall and some of the museums. In the foyer of the National Museum of Natural History, Mipha gazed at the iconic elephant with awe.

"It's so cute! Looks like Ruta, doesn't it?" She blushed a bit.

She continued looking at the taxidermy elephant before she was hit with a great feeling of dread.

"Hm? Link..? Link! Where are you?"

No response.

Mipha quickly fell into a state of panic, and fearing the worst, she pulled out her trident and rushed out of the museum in such a hurry, that she slipped on the stairs, wet from the rain.

As she struggled to get up, a hand reached out to help her. It was a man in a suit, with a concerned look on his face.

"Are you okay miss?" he asked.

Mipha nodded, still flustered. "I'm sorry, I'm just really worried about my friend. He disappeared and I can't find him."

The man nodded sympathetically. "I understand. It can be scary to lose someone in a big city like this. But don't worry, we'll help you find him."

Mipha was taken aback by the man's kindness. She didn't expect a stranger to offer to help her like this. Together with the man and a group of police officers, Mipha searched the city for Link. They checked every street, every alleyway, and every building they could think of, but there was no sign of him. Finally, as they were about to give up hope, they heard a faint noise coming from an abandoned building. It was the sound of someone playing a flute.

Mipha recognized the tune instantly. It was a song that Link often played when he was feeling sad or lonely.

They rushed into the building and found Link sitting alone in a corner, playing his flute. He looked up as they entered, surprised.

"Mipha!" he exclaimed. "What are you doing here? Is everything okay?"

Mipha ran to him and embraced him tightly, tears streaming down her face. "Don't you ever scare me like that again," she whispered.

The man in the suit smiled, satisfied that their mission was a success. "I'm just glad we were able to help. That's what we do here in America. We help each other."

The Champions realized that this was true. Even though they were from a different world, they had been welcomed and assisted by the people of this country. And for that, they were grateful.

Yet, the question still remained- How exactly did Link end up in that building in the first place?

The Champions, along with their new friends, interrogated the police about what happened. Was this the work of the New Order? Did they somehow start up again?

The police were equally confused, and it seemed that they were not sure how Link ended up in that building either.

One of the detectives approached the group with a serious expression on his face. "We found a note on him," he said, holding out a piece of paper. "It reads, 'We have your hero. Surrender yourselves, or he dies.'"

The Champions exchanged worried glances. They knew that they couldn't just sit around and wait for the police to figure this out.

"We have to go after them," Daruk said firmly. "We can't just let them take Link like this."

The others nodded in agreement, and they quickly began to make plans.

Joining forces with their American allies, the Champions form a resistance.

"Since we're all in a big Resistance together, we're going to need a headquarters," Daruk announced.

Urbosa spoke, offering a suggestion. "All the New Order's lackeys fled their headquarters when we caught them the first time," She smirked at the idea. "So why don't we use that place as our base of operations?" Urbosa finished, her smirk turning into a confident grin.

The group agreed, and they made their way to the old headquarters. The building was deserted and looked as if it had been abandoned for some time. The Champions and their allies quickly set to work, fortifying the building and setting up equipment to help them in their mission.

Mipha was busy setting up a medical station, while Link was practicing his sword skills. Daruk and Urbosa were strategizing, discussing possible locations where Link could be held captive.

Revali, on the other hand, was perched on a windowsill, his gaze fixed on the sky. "Something's coming," he said suddenly, his eyes narrowing.

Just as he spoke, a group of drones appeared in the sky, their red lights glowing ominously. The group quickly realized that they were under attack, and they sprung into action.

The Champions and their allies fought bravely, taking down the drones one by one. But they soon realized that they were outnumbered. More drones were coming, and they had to act fast if they wanted to survive.

"You guys should use your Divin- oh. Right," Link said, relising that they did not have the Divine Beasts here.

"They would really be helpful, wouldn't they?" Mipha asked.

Urbosa nodded. "Indeed. But we'll have to make do with what we have."

Daruk spoke up. "We can use our skills to set up traps and fortify our base. We'll make it as impenetrable as possible."

Revali chimed in. "And I can scout the surrounding area, gather intel, and keep an eye out for any suspicious activity."

The group continued to discuss their plans, determined to stop the New Order from causing any more harm. Luckily, the New Order had left some of their weapons and machinery behind, leaving them as fair game for the Champions. Among those tools was a vehicle with a rocket launcher mounted to it.

As she had been the first to master her Divine Beast, it didn't come as a big surprise that Mipha figured out how to operate it pretty quickly. In addition, Revali had managed to set up turrets as defense.

With their new weapons and fortifications, the Champions and their allies were ready for any potential attacks from the New Order. However, as days passed, it became clear that the organization had not resurfaced.

The group decided to use this time to explore and learn more about their new surroundings. They visited various historical sites, tried new foods, and even attended a baseball game.

During a visit to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Daruk marveled at the various aircraft on display.

"These machines are truly remarkable. It's hard to believe that humans were able to create such incredible things."

Urbosa smiled. "Indeed. It just goes to show what can be accomplished with ingenuity and determination."

As they continued their explorations, the Champions began to realize that, despite the differences in culture and technology, they had much in common with the people of this new land. They were united in their desire for freedom and justice, and they were willing to fight to protect those ideals. Over the coming weeks, they spent more time visiting and learning about the culture of the country. They learned of ups and downs; albeit different from what they had at home, sharing stories of their own experiences in Hyrule along the way.

One day, they visited a Native American reservation, where they met with some of the tribe members and learned about their way of life. Urbosa was especially fascinated by the tribal dances and traditional music.

"It's quite different from what I'm used to, but the rhythm and energy are captivating," Urbosa remarked as she watched the dancers.

Mipha nodded in agreement. "Their culture is so rich and unique. It's wonderful to see how they have preserved it."

As they continued to travel across the country, they encountered many different people and learned about various customs and traditions. They also faced some challenges, such as encountering hostile individuals who were not happy about outsiders coming into their communities.

However, through their perseverance and teamwork, the Champions were able to overcome these obstacles and continue on their journey.

Yet, something seemed off. Sure, they were fascinated by the idea of a store that sells only furniture (and meatballs for some reason), but there had been no word back from Princess Zelda yet.

As time passed, the Champions grew increasingly anxious about the lack of communication from Princess Zelda. They had sent numerous messages to her through the Sheikah Slate, but had received no response.

"It's not like her to be this silent," Urbosa said, voicing the concern that was on everyone's minds. "Something must be wrong."

The group decided to investigate the matter further. They used their resources and connections to gather information about the situation back in Hyrule. After some digging, they discovered that a powerful sorcerer had taken control of the castle and was holding Princess Zelda captive.

"We need to act fast," Link said with a determined look. "We can't let this sorcerer hold Princess Zelda hostage. We have to save her."

The Champions knew that they couldn't do this alone, and so they reached out to their American allies for help. Together, they planned a daring mission to infiltrate the castle and rescue Princess Zelda.

The young woman from Tysons noticed something unusual about the sorcererss, though. She came off as... unordiary, even to the Champions.

"What's wrong?" Mipha asked the young woman.

"Well, you guys are amazing and all, but there's something strange about that lady. I mean, I know she's a sorceress and all, but there's something different about her," the young woman said, hesitantly.

The Champions looked at each other, unsure of what to make of the woman's words. They had seen all sorts of magic and sorcery in their time, but there was something about this sorceress that didn't sit right with them.

"Can you tell us more?" Link asked, hoping to get more information.

"Well, for starters, she always seems to be around whenever something bad happens. And then, she disappears without a trace. It's like she's always lurking in the shadows," the young woman replied.

The Champions exchanged worried glances. If what the woman said was true, then they couldn't let this sorceress continue to cause trouble. They needed to find out more about her and put a stop to her schemes.

The Champions looked at each other, unsure of what to make of the woman's words. They had seen all sorts of magic and sorcery in their time, but there was something about this sorceress that didn't sit right with them.

So once again, the party set off on an investigation, only to discover the worst.

"They are trying to resurface in your country," the woman said.

The Champions were taken aback.

"Who is trying to resurface?" Urbosa asked urgently.

"The New Order," the woman replied. "They're trying to establish a foothold here in America, and they're recruiting new members from all over the world."

The Champions exchanged worried glances.

"We can't let that happen," Link said resolutely.

"Agreed," Mipha added. "But what can we do? We don't even know where they're operating from."

The woman spoke up again. "I might be able to help with that. I've been hearing rumors about a secret underground facility in the city. It's heavily guarded, and no one knows what's going on inside, but I have a feeling it might be connected to the New Order."

The Champions nodded in agreement.

"We'll need to investigate that facility and put a stop to whatever the New Order is planning," Daruk said firmly.

"Then let's get to it," Urbosa said, determination in her voice. "We'll need all the information we can get if we're going to take them down."

The Champions, during their brief time back in Hyrule, brought a few Guardians with them on their quest back to Hyrule.

Particularly, Mipha had taken some time to return to Zora's Domain, and visit her father and brother. Before returning to the party, she used her phone she had bought in Tysons to take a picture of Vah Ruta.

The Champions headed back to America with the Guardians.

"They were made to help us in ancient times, oh, and if I may, I have something that might be interesting, " Mipha said, showing the young woman the picture of Vah Ruta.

Before the woman can respond, she notices that someone had followed them into the portal.

Shocked, Mipha spoke out. "Sidon! How did you get here?"

She figured that as he and two Zora guards had come to escort her back to the States, the young prince had followed her. But, there was no chance of sending him back home, as the portal was closing up. Link quickly took out a napkin from a fast food restaurant, and scribbled a note on it.

'The prince is with us.'

He threw the note through the portal as it closed completely

With Sidon now with them, the Champions decided to make the best of the situation and utilize his knowledge and strength in their fight against the New Order. They also showed him around the city and introduced him to the American culture.

As they continued their investigation, they discovered that the New Order had indeed resurfaced in the country, and were attempting to gain control of important government buildings and resources. The Champions, along with their allies, launched a full-scale attack on the New Order's headquarters, using the Guardians and their newfound knowledge of the enemy's tactics to gain an advantage.

The battle was intense and lasted for hours, but in the end, the Champions emerged victorious. With the New Order defeated once again, they celebrated with their allies and rejoiced in the fact that they had prevented another disaster from occurring.

As they prepared to return to Hyrule, the Champions and their American friends exchanged gifts and tokens of appreciation, promising to keep in touch and maintain their friendship. With Sidon in tow, the Champions returned to their own world, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
