So, you own a Minecraft server, and you want to expand, or provide more content for your users? Well, BungeeCord can cause a substantial growth, if you do everything right... But, if you make a few small errors, that are very easy to make, you can basically loose your entire server.

THIS IS A TUTORIAL ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE SET UP YOUR PORT-FORWARDING.

This is a very simple tutorial on how to protect your "back-end servers."
Note, this tutorial is designed for a windows server.

First, open up your RDP, and connect to your server's desktop.
Next, press the windows icon.
Click, or search "windows firewall with advanced security."
Down to Inbound rules.
As long as you have already port-forwarded, 25565 should be open. Leave it open!
Your going to want to click on new rule, on the upper right-hand side of the screen.
Chose port, then click next.
TCP. 25566-255__ (__ means fill in the blank with a value above 66)
Block the connection.
Leave everything checked.
Run your BungeeCord servers, protected from the outside world, yet still connectable via Lobby/Hub/Cloud!

ALLOW QUERY:
Back to firewall w/ advanced security.
New rule, inbound.
Same steps as before, but allow 25564 as UDP.

NEXT TUTORIAL:
Multi-Server voting! (To see a demo, try out GOMLHub.com, and vote for your rewards on all of our servers.)
