Call Of the Wolf
0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Chapter 1
The eyes.
All good stories begin with, once upon a time.
But not this one, this one begins with two boys playing in a field. One named Jackson, and the other Mason.
They're having fun, chasing rabbits, or doing whatever boys do while playing in a field. Then the clouds came.
Their mother, sitting in the field watching her boys, calls out to them.
“Boys! It’s time to head home!”
“But mum!” They answer.
“Rain isn't going to hurt us!”
“Yes but I will, now come along!”
They reluctantly go to their mother, as they do so, one of them spots glowing yellow eyes at the tree line.
“Mum, what's that?” Mason asks as he points at the eyes.
The other looks in the direction of where he was pointing only to see nothing.
“What honey?”
“I saw eyes!”
“It must've been your imagination. Now come along.”
They both follow their mother out of the field.
Mason looks back one more time, only to see nothing.
He has a strong feeling he should go back there alone sometime.
It starts to dribble as they walk down the dirt path leading to their little town, the dirt path turns to cobblestone as they arrive at the town.
