House Making: 3 Iron Ingots

House Editing: 1 Iron Ingot

Emergency Shelter: 1 Flint

Emergency Shelter is only if you are in danger, need a house, or is trapped or stuck.

It costs one flint or one coal, but this excludes trapped in The End (no gravel or coal)

By the way, emergency shelters are quick, and now spending too much time on them. If you are being attacked by the Ender Dragon in The End, it is best you have a diamond pick, so you can go inside the obsidian towers. It will be safe and sound inside as long as you don't exit to fight the Ender Dragon.
