Ok, so we've all dreamed of this before but no one has succeeded yet in achieving it, making a Minecraft redstone computer that would run Minecraft or a Minecraft server. I'm sure that many people would have done this by now if it was more conceivable but, as the code makes it slow it is not a project that has enough resources for it to be completed.......UNTIL NOW! With the 1.7 update Notch included the long-awaited pistons and with them, a new way to create computer components like RAM, CPUs ,and long distance transmission. Since pistons don't burn out like redstone torches, the conversion over to them as the main component of computers is a no brainer. I know what many people are thinking though, "pistons are limited to how fast there cycle is retard so there no better than redstone torches!" fortunately though I recently came up with a breakthrough that will allow RAM (and soon other components) to fix themselves if the sticky piston has left the block in the wrong position. So at this point I have RAM that can be toggled as quickly as you want and it will ALWAYS retain data and transmit correctly. True it is much larger than normal RAM but it is going to be worth it ( cmon who doesn't want RAM that fixes itself :D ) unfortunately for the populous though I am not going to release my design for this RAM just yet the reason being that 1: I like to keep an edge on competition >:D 2: I like to inspire people to make their own designs 3: it is in the beta phase and I'm not done sending it through its paces and 4: this may be the largest breakthrough in redstone yet so I would like to keep it secret for me and my friends who are working on this computer together to incorporate it into our own device :) . I will however, post pictures (not any that show exact schematics) of the machine as it goes along and ill make some videos of it too.
