“My story is likely never going to be believed due to the incidents that occurred in it.
Please, my story is true, hopefully I am dead by the time you read this.
This started earlier today. [Friday march 14 1987] I am a freshman, it was the end of the year, boy was I excited. But something was off about this day.”
“This… Woman… I presumed it was a Woman at the very least.
She was wearing all black, and had what appeared to be “moss” and other things you would find in a swamp, all over different parts of her body.
She stared into my classrooms at random.”
I told my teachers when she was there but when they looked at the door, they all told me the same thing.
“There is no one there John, are you alright?”
I wanted to say something but I really didn’t think it was the best idea. This all occurred at random throughout my day.
When 8th period arrived, I kept looking at the window, to see if she showed.
Honestly, I was pretty disturbed, I got yelled at by most of my teachers for “drifting off into space” so to speak.
Walking home, I didn’t see her, which I really didn’t expect to, nor hope to.
Arriving home, I through my backpack with books, pencils, and other utilities from school down at the ground, where it normally lays.
“John, I am cooking Pork chop, it will likely be ready in five to ten minutes.
I responded with a simple “Alright”.
Running up the stairs to journey to my room, I felt as someone was following me, looking back several times to be sure, but as expected, no one was there. I came to the conclusion my mind was playing tricks on me. I have not yet got it off my mind, that Woman, no one else could appear to sense her presence… But me.”
“Get a hold of yourself John. It was just your imagination.”
Sitting on my bed, thoughts running wild, that is when my room door burst open with the sight of my mother.
“Dinner is ready.”
She startled me a bit.
I wasn’t hungry anyway so I decided to stay in my room, and try to get my mind off what happened. I looked out my upstairs window only to see that women, standing in my backyard.
I-I don’t know if I was furious, or terrified, both perhaps.
For an odd reason, I did not want my Mother to know, she might start panicing, or make a scene, and I really do not need that.
I, sweating and in a rush, ran down my carpet stairs, each step louder that the last.
My mother started to say something but I was outside before I could hear it entirely.
Ready to confront the strange lady, I looked around. There is nothing here.
The only way to get to our backyard, or out, was to jump the fence or go through the back door.
I know all of this sounds crazy, and you probably think I am some maniac, but just hear me out. I know what I saw. This wasn’t just some “figment of imagination”. My mother looked at me worried, and I knew I would have to come up with some sort of explanation.
Later that night, I grew restless.
“What did she want? Was this some sort of joke? Should I be scared?”
All these questions, running through my mind. I don’t remember the time, maybe 10pm? I don’t know, I was too scared to even think about the time.
My curtains were closed. I wanted to open them to make sure she wasn’t there, but at the same time I was scared she would be there. I got up from my bed, shaking, and terrified. About to move my curtains. Heat was building up in my body as I placed my clammy hand on the curtain.
With a quick motion I removed it. Nothing, I almost sighed in relief. Almost.
That is when my closet door opened.
