Alright, let's jump right into this one, shall we? We all know what the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise is. If you haven't heard of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, you must have been living under a rock! The growing franchise has gained a lot of popularity
since the first game was released in August 8, 2014. Three other games followed the first one, each being even more successful in sales than the previous. Like most things that gain popularity fast, a community begins to come together, a fandom as we refer to them now. 

Now that, that little business is out of the way, the opinions part, if you chose to disregard my warning and leave rude and hateful comments I will not stop you or remove them, since this is a blog and all comments, including hate, criticism, and comments that do not directly agree with what I am saying are welcome here, I however will try to respond in a calm and professional manner.

The Five Nights at Freddy's community is what ruins the game, for me and a lot of other peoeple. People have gone as far as to create creepypastas, fanfiction and even explicit content of the animatronics performing sexual acts, which, to be completely honest doesn't surprise me in the slightest, nor does it bother me in particular. What bothers me are the fans, yes, I said fans. Shocked? Already scrolling down, ready to click that text box to tell me how wrong or stupid this blog post is? If not, allow me to continue.

The fanbase, or fandom as people refer to it as, completely ruined the scare factor of the game, by creating cute art, or making comics that revolve around funny things, which, there isn't anything wrong with that, unless you are trying to completely ruin the scare factor of the game franchise. Okay, perhaps I am not the first one to say, but let's be honest, the majortiy of the fandom is made up of 10 year olds that freak out if you complain or give any contructive criticism to the game franchise, along with watching Pewdiepie and Smosh daily, along with treating them like Gods. The community has also recieved an abundant amount of hate from popular communities such as 4chan, Reddit, and basically anywhere you find neckbearded Athiests in their 40's living in their mothers basement, which I personally do not associate with.
