squid coast was the first map i made, when making MCD in the base game.
im very happy with iot, and am here to tell you some secrets.
there are very few mobs in the level, but it was hard to get Zombies to work, as they kept burning. instead, i retextured Husk, lol.
An odd notion, there are many, many, walls around the level, this is because there wasn't much around it at first, and walls were an easy way to hide the outside world.
The Creeper Woods was also built around Squid Coast, and therefore, the tree walls used, are also used as tree barriers on the Creeper Woods
It was at one point considered to have a giant Goliath Guard be the boss of Squid Coast, but was untimely scrapped.
There are very few Weapons scattered about this level, but there is one main secret... as with all levels there is a "trophy" hidden, the trophy of this level is the "Eponymous sac", in reference to the Glow Squids there.
several sunflowers can be found there as well.
it was very annoying making trees here, but all-in-all, rewarding. the level looks great!
