Hey guys! I wanted to see if I was good at blogs too, so here we go!
INTRO
Earlier today I was playing Survival Games when I was attacked by a full tier 2 player! I didn't have good armor so I was pretty much doomed. But then! I had flint & steel in my inventory! While I was running I quickly turned around and lit the ground behind me. He ran into the fire and started falling back to regain his health, that was my chance. I turned back and attacked him, a stone sword versus a diamond sword. The fire must have hit him hard because it only took 2 hits to finish him. Then I got to thinking...
Everyone needs to fight with strategy! Nobody likes someone who will attack with a wood sword without thinking, they just die. There are many different ways to fight, but most people just worry about the amount of armor they have. This is the wrong way to fight! You need to learn your terrain and make steady movements if you want to live. I personally don't attack a group of people, I try to pick them off one by one. If they all head towards me, I run and use the Flint & Steel Trick!
Here is a list of tips for PvP
#1 Flint & Steel, while in pursuit try to get closer to your enemy and light 'em up!
#2 Learn your terrain, try to shake you pursuers instead of fighting them if you know you will die.
#3 Stand firm, if you have better stuff, don't cower away. It just gives the enemy confidence.
#4 Head to higher grounds, this is more for the mountain maps. Hit them off the mountain and retrieve their stuff.
#5 One by one, don't go for the whole group. Pick off the ones that fall behind first.
Those are just a few, but let me talk about some other things now.
BETRAYAL
The most hurtful kill of all, betrayal. Do not betray. It is not fair to the other player. When they say yes to team, it means they trust you. Trust is a valuable thing, especially on SG. Don't make a bad reputation for yourself.
RAGING
Its just a game. Don't get mad when you lose or die. There is always another round or more items that you can get. Its not that big of a deal.
TROLLING
This one is the hardest to determine. Sometimes trolling is bad, sometimes it is just meant to be good fun. Don't do something that will break a friendship or hurt someones feelings. In the end it hurts you the most.
CONCLUSION
PvP is extremely fun when played like an expert. And the best prize of all, getting all those points friendship :3
