Egg idea.

What's my idea about?

My idea is about the Enderdragon egg. There is one reason I dislike killing the Enderdragon, that is due to the fact of the poor reward, I mean 100 levels of EXP is nice, but then sitting through the credits isn't that great. The egg STILL has no use, so I'd like to suggest an idea of its use.

I have three idea's for it's use.

1. -Invincibility/flying

2. -Hatching

3. -Improving beacon with it.

1. I'd like to be able to either craft it into food, or eat it strait; then it to give you invincibility/flying abilities.

This would have to limited to single-player, unless the owner wants one invincible player.

This would effect Minecraft because once you've killed the Enderdragon, there isn't much to do, and I would think it'd be cool to have invincibility, although you'd have to have a switch.

Or flying, as if you contract the to-be babies flying power. This would be useful to most Minecraft players because in survival, it's hard to reach some materials or ores, so this would be a very helpful tool to make Minecraft life just that bit easier after the final battle.

2. Hatching, everyone has thought of it. Although I'm going to explain it deeper.

So, once you've got the egg, you have nothing to do with it, so you put it on a heat source, or maybe as it's a Dragon egg, a pile of snow. Then as the egg get's closer to hatching, the purple lines start to fade, and then it cracks, teleporting you to it (Enderman ability reversed) Then it hatches into a baby dragon, that follows you around, like a pet, it would defend you and breath fire(Maybe if you kept the egg in a fire source it would breath fire, and in snow, ice etc.) Then once it get's older, you can ride it.

This would effect Minecraft because, well who wouldn't want an awesome pet dragon? It would help you do everything once you've done the hard bit of killing it's parents.

3.Super beacon? Well, what if you crafted a super beacon with it, like the egg in the middle of the table, surrounded by beacons, this would make a normal looking beacon, but would have a purple beam with Enderman particles, you wouldn't need a Emerald pyramid, or to give it ore's when having an ability.

This would effect Minecraft because you would then not have to gather materials, and you'd have a nice reward for killing the Dragon, plus all of these would just add to Minecraft, because you don't have to do anything with the egg, and adding an effect would be nice!
